Danny and Shannon Lewy started Lewy Physical Therapy in 2001 with the intent of providing the highest quality of Physical and Occupational Therapy for those in the Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. Understanding that it was difficult for working patients to attend therapy during normal business hours, an after-hours program was established along with Saturday morning clinics. They also noticed that many patients have a difficult time performing traditional exercises with typical equipment while suffering from acute pain.

With this is mind a state-of-the-art therapy pool was designed allowing patients to perform more exercises with less pain when following an aquatic therapy program. Our therapy is geared toward incorporation of function in all aspects of treatment for any pathology. We want the patient to be challenged in Physical and Occupational Therapy in a refreshing, energetic yet comfortable environment that will maximize positive results.
